A transfer from Penn State, KeAndre Lambert-Smith had as high as fourth/fifth round projections and grades from advance NFL scouts across the league, and was considered by some teams as a top 150 prospect. After a slow start to the season, Lamber-Smith and the Tigers were able to build some momentum and put up some production at the end of the year, while Lambert-Smith was able to showcase what he will be able to do at the next level.

2WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Auburn Tigers

Pros:

  • Verified 4.29 forty yard dash while at Penn State. Looks like a 4.45 guy on the field. Good speed, potentially great speed.
  • Good explosive ability.
  • Shows a good catch radius. Made some ridiculous catches through contact.
  • Very solid timing route runner.
  • Very good receiver after the catch. Very dangerous in space. Has good cutback ability.

Cons:

  • Has some terrible drops from time to time. Looks more like it’s a discipline issue.
  • Doesn’t always do a good job enforcing himself in contact situations to command the catch point.
  • Shows the ability to track the deep ball, but isn’t consistently doing it.
  • Not a player who is going to create very much of an impact in the red zone.
  • Not a very consistent run blocker.

Projection: 5th/7th Round

Projected Role: Special Teams/Practice Squad
