Will Campbell came into the season with some of the highest grades out of any prospects in NFL circles, but it will take some faith and confidence for a team to leave him at tackle at the next level. His athletic profile should be very good, but Campbell struggles to hold up beyond the first move and to speed. If he can develop his pass protection technique and learn to hand fight better, he is a all-pro left tackle. That’s a big if to put on decision-makers.

Pros:

• Good athlete. Expected to test well (5.10E).
• Good upper body strength. Has some brute power to his game.
• Has a huge lower body. Very explosive.
• Recovers well in his anchor, even when he is jolted.
• Excellent initial hand placement.
• Has some real pop and power in his hands.
• Didn’t miss a game in his collegiate career to injury (opted-out of the 2024 Bowl Game).

Cons:

• Upright athlete who doesn’t bend well naturally.
• Lacks some lateral quickness, very stiff overall.
• Very upright anchor. Waist bends when engaging against speed.
• Struggles against speed to the outside.
• While his initial hand placement is good, he struggles on second moves to hold up, especially against defenders with a plan.
• Struggles to get downhill, loses his leverage very easily.
