Today’s Small Schoolfocuses on Toledo safety Maxen Hook, a prospect I’ve been watching over two seasons develop into a solid back-end prospect. While he missed some time last season to an injury, Maxen started 9 games and was productive last season on a very stout Toledo defense.

  • Good short burst and speed, 4.51V.
  • Strong wrap up tackler and very active run defender.
  • 50+ solo tackles in each of the last 3 seasons.
  • 3 interceptions in 9 games last season.

Hook plays a ton in the box at Toledo and can hold up on the back end too, making him a very good strong safety prospect who should hear his name called on Draft Night in 2025.
